Cheers from London! The flight wasn't as bad as I thought (although the food was worse). I watched the first hour of The Vow and fell asleep for the last 6 hours of the flight. When I woke up, the sun was rising and we were only half an hour from Heathrow Airport. As soon as we got off the plane, the jet lag set in... we all crashed in an empty terminal for at least 3 hours before we realized we hadn't eaten in over 12 hours. We got some food, walked around, and played cards foreverrrr because what else is there to do in an airport when you have a NINE HOUR LAYOVER?! Granted we did have some entertainment from Kristen Wiig's roommate in Bridesmaids (I swear it was her twin, just 20 times stupider and 100 times more annoying). However, it was pretty disappointing knowing that we were so close to the city, but couldn't leave the airport. Right now, it's 7 pm London time and were about to board the plane for the final (and longest) part of the journey. IT'S TIME FOR AFRICA!
